Locavore Buying Club Membership
LBC Membership grants you full access to the services of all the local bulk buys I help coordinate. Your yearly membership covers your share of shipping and personal packaging fees for the whole year, with **no limit** on the number of my bulk buys you can participate in, and also **no limit** on the number of products you can purchase per order! A typical year includes services for:
5-6 x Regional Access (for flours, grains, beans, other dry goods, olive oil)
4-5 x Soaper's Choice (for bulk oils, both edible and cosmetic)
5-6 x local honey from Sunswick Farm (100% raw and untreated)
4-6 x local, organically grown produce such as corn, peppers, and summer squash from Reeves Farm; tomatoes from Greyrock Farm; peaches from Good Life Farm, and more!
1-2 x Natural Candy Store (so many treats)
1 x Brush with Bamboo (my favorite toothbrushes)
... and any other specialized bulk purchase that helps support a local or regional business and/or gives us as a collective entity access to more affordable pricing and more sustainable shipping options on healthy, eco-friendly products. My preferred vendor list grows every year!
At this time, bulk orders are distributed primarily through a strong community network operating on mutual assistance to collectively reduce our fossil fuel usage. *NEW* this year is access to drop sites for LBC members, for more convenient pick-up options. Drop sites are hosted in Manlius, Fayetteville, Syracuse, and Mattydale and are announced when available per bulk order.

I have been helping coordinate bulk orders for community-run purchasing efforts since 2013. It's a pleasure for me to help people save money on great food and other products. With the help of a ton of spreadsheets, I source high-quality items and distribute them to buyers, regular individuals like you who would normally only be able to purchase these products at the retail price. I say forget the tax on shopping solo; join forces with me and the many other local VIPs (Very Intelligent Purchasers!) so we can help each other live better for less

While it is not necessary to be an LBC Member to participate in a personally coordinated bulk buy, I do require non-members to chip in on shipping and personal repackaging fees on an order-by-order basis. Joining the LBC guarantees your access to these goods without any of the extra hassle of accounting for these additional fees. Therefore, when you see the price of the item, that's what you're paying. Streamlining the process by joining my Locavore Buying Club helps you focus on getting the goods you need, and allows me to organize more orders faster. This is not just easier for me, but it gets you what you want to eat sooner, and better supports our local foodshed: a win-win-win!
